Chameleon
I recall seeing a layout years ago at York show. All I can remember about it was that it was n gauge(I think) and it had the most awesome looking large expanse of water in the foreground. it is this water I am trying to replicate. There was a wee printed sheet on the front of the layout that told how the owner had achieved this, I believe it had something to do with artex and varnish. I took a photo of the layout and the info but I cannot find them anywhere. I think it was about 10 years or so ago but could be longer. I know it's not much to go on but does anyone remember this layout and more importantly how the water was done?

Catkins
I seem to recall that Bassenthwaite Lake featured in a magazine recently, and also appeared at the Peterborough show last month.
