jixer
Sorry guys but can any of you give me a quick steer on how you actually put the light bar in to the new 'light bar ready' Gresleys? Do you just pop the roofs off em? Just want some quick advice before I break something...! Thanks in advance!
DapolDave
I love the easy questions early on a Monday morning. Yes, simply unclip the roof from the body. A finger nail along the join between the roof and the body shoud be enough to give you purchase, then simple unclip. cheers Dave

AllScales
That reminds me, I have three non-light bar ready Gresleys, These seem to open by gently bending the the underframe outwards. Is there a kit to make these light bar ready?
Marty Mc
Hi Yes their is. You can do it a couple of ways, but this was the method that worked best for me. I used DCC Concepts Flicker free 2 which has everything you need including pick ups. You need to let the shop you want it for n gauge and with the smallest prototype white lights. See Bromsgrove models Digitrains DCC Supplies etc. This is the product. http://www.dccconcep...flickerfree.htm The photos show the results and also ff2 working. The big benefit of ff2 among other things you dont need constant pick ups. In saying that Dapols system is far easier just pull the roof off and plug it in. That will give you some ideas. m
