woodbine
Hi, I've made some shop signs and posters in Photshop and trial printed them onto ordinary paper with my inkjet printer. I didn't want to use PVA glue and risk 1. having the ink run and 2. leaving gluey traces, so I experimented with ways of sticking them down (to plasticard and paint) and protecting them using varnishes. First I tried Humbrol Matt Cote, which didn't stick them at all. Next was Microscale Microflat, which stuck them perfectlyl but left a satin sheen. Third was Windsor & Newton Acrylic Gel Matt Medium, which was totally invisible but seems to want a bit longer to get to full strength. I quite like the Matt Medium, as long as it sticks eventually, but would appreciate your comments before I poster all my buildings with the wrong stuff! Dorsetmike
Print onto label stock, they stick to most things. Varnish is advisable for ink jet prints, for colour laser prints it's not essential. A colour laser can work out a lot cheaper per page than ink jet. For A4 label stock I use http://www.labelplanet.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=EL1/H
