Guest Moria Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 Greetings all. Has anyone got any g0tchas or cautions about fitting a decoder to one of these.. I will be hardwiring, not using the replacement board. Looking at the PCB it looks like if the barrel of the switch is removed, its a simple install, but would be interested to know if anyone has found a problem or got any photos of a successful set up. Edwin_m Posted December 4, 2009 Share Posted December 4, 2009 I've done this, I seem to recall cutting a track on the PCB and also having to saw a bit off the metal weight to make room for the decoder. Need to be sure the PCB sits down properly on the contact springs and still connects to the motor terminals. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
