edcayton
I thought there was some brilliant stuff this year. I enjoyed a larger proportion of Jools Holland's guests than I normally do, and flicked between that and a ceileidh (sp?)on BBC Alba over the New Year itself, but what really surprised me was the Albert Hall concert by Adele shown last night. I had been vaguely aware of her but didn't realise what an exceptional singer and writer she is. If you can catch it on the iPlayer I recommend it. RMweb Premium petethemole Posted January 2, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 2, 2012 The previous show on ALBA was a seasonal party gig at Barrowlands by The Vatersay Boys, absolutely stunning if you like that sort of thing. I'm not even partly Scottish but do like a lot of their trad music scene and often have ALBA on for the music shows. Pete
