silverlink
I know this is not necessarily a railway question, but there again it could well be. Does anyone know how to remove Super glue ? as some pr***t has poured some over the front bumper of my daughters car! Now I use super glue on my models and I'm sure there are many of you that do likewise so at some time or other got it where it should not be. Any help would be gratefully recieved. Baby Deltic
Have you tried good old Fairy Liquid? You could take a look at these products:http://www.amazon.co...sl_1mcnbeieb9_e
Coombe Barton
Acetone (Nail polish remover) works as well, but may affect the bumper material. Warm water and washing up liquid first, though, as least damaging to substrate, person or environment.
buffalo
If you go for a remover as suggested by Baby Deltic, read the instructions carefully. The one sitting on my bench (Pacer Z-7 debonder) is mostly acetone and says "may craze some plastics". Many superglues are quite brittle, so hot but perhaps not boiling water may cause sufficient expansion in the underlying material to crack the glue.
