Bristol FL terminal

Hi Everyone,

 

Thanks to you all for previous help to all my enquiries, but this time I'm looking for a link to pictures, or just pictures of the recently resurrected frieghtliner terminal near Parsons Street in Ashton, Bristol off South Liberty lane. This terminal will make a perfect small terminal to model as they seem to use "Stackers" to place containers on the flats rather than a large gantry crane.

There was a thread on here when it was in the process of being re-activated and then once it was in use. I believe it was started by'Captain Kernow', so a search might throw up the relevant thread.

Thanks for that, yes the link worked fine. I have seen some"long Shots" of the terminal in a recent magazine, but due to age can't remember which one hopefully some kind soul will take pity on me and come up with some up-to-date pictures.

In its previous existence (dating from the mid-1970s), a crawler road crane was used, as the site is very constricted.

The picture on the Freightliner site was the one I was thinking of, it's a fairly compact site ideal for one side of a layout.
