Given that I've recently been inspired by some images from Brian Moore that appeared on the gallery pages... and his PMs that directed me to think carefully before diving in, I found the appearance of this mag quite timely. Some interesting articles to peruse... and I really need to get to know what's what... given that I'm purely considering picking up a loco or two, the pages at the back are a useful price guide - but I need to bottom the issue whether price = quality? Looking athe quality of some models, and the technology, I'm still left wondering whether british RTR will ever catch up! Review of Athearn GE U50 loco - Never seen or known of this loco before - Blimey that's big... as a Deltic Fan, a diesel electric with 2x 16 cylinder 2,500HP propulsion would sure take some beating - shame it wasn't successful.
