Respite Posted February 6, 2012 Share Posted February 6, 2012 Members of this thread might be interested in this new DVD from BandR video. It's actually ten years since Industrial Steam Vol 1 was released. There is some very interesting film on this DVD although the commentary contains a lot of errors. The scenes of Respite all but stalling in the snow at Bickershaw are edge of the seat stuff and theres also the last 0-4-0 at Polkemmet working although the commentary doesn't pick this up. There is some narrow gauge in North Wales as well. The preservation scenes at the end of the DVD weren't worth including in my opinion but if you are interested in Industrial Steam this DVD is well worth having.
