47406
I'm currently at the point of having two bachy 37/4 bodies stripped down to bare metal (erm, plastic...) and doing some fotopic research as to which of the CF 37/4s they're going to become in large logo. In my browsing of what's on offer on fotopic I found a little detail that I didn't remember from seeing these things in action, sometime in 1988 or 89 37431 acquired a white backed plaque (vinyl ?) on the left cabsides - does anyone know what it is or have a clear shot of it ? Here's the closest thing i have to a decent shot of it (below), and here's a link to someone else's shot on fotopic - http://thegrowlers.f.../p33392988.html Thanks ! -dylan
backwaterscotland
From the fotopic photo it looks like the shield of the County of Powys (which would fit with the name): Andy
47406
Aha ! You are indeed right, a bit more fotopicing (their search function permitting...) yielded this: http://newimages.fot...nal=1&nostamp=1 and the plaque itself: http://www.dazzasrai.../p41432885.html I think that's readily doable as a DIY-transfer...
