Rivercider
The OBAs were more commonly used for sleepers and engineering materials once they had been transferred to the engineers department, they were then recoded ZDA, and known as 'Bass' wagons. For starters Paul Bartletts site has a couple of pictures showing the load. cheers
Fat Controller
Try this link;- Martyn's taken a lot of useful shots from fairly high angles, which are useful both for showing the load, and for giving an idea of internal weathering. http://ukrailwaypics.smugmug.com/UKRailRollingstock/O/OBA-drop-side-open-wagons/16290827_r5bfp9#!i=1386016965&k=8L5qWKD
