OFFTHE RAILS
There's one on the front of every steam loco - however I'm sure you wanted a smoke generator for your model. Seuthe is the name of the manufacturer.

Poe
Hi rather than start a new topic i thought id post here, Any idea which is the smallest smoke generator for a plastic bodied Hornby class 3f jinty? just measured the chimney and its 3mm on the inside at the top. Ive seen some smoke units but theyre only for metal bodied locos and i dont want to melt the chimney. thanks.

Hi there Poe, For a slim-chimney plastic bodied loco, you'll want to get a Seuthe #22 unit. Fit the unit using a two part epoxy. Mike
Poe
Thaks mike, Think ill have to file down the inside of the loco chimney (about 1.5mm) to get the 22 to fit, is that a heat resistant epoxy then? or is it something like this? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item27c2fe959a EDIT: just found this one http://www.dccsupplies.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=1065 its 3.5mm across at the top will this be suitable?
