70E
From painting a water tower which set off a chain of events that led to knocking off a roof vent from the above van, scrambling around and finding it and only to loose it again! I am writing to ask is the vent in question a 'torpedo vent' or if not what is it's correct name. Also, any advice on who manufactures a good representation to replace it would be appreciated? RMweb Premium 31A Posted March 31, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted March 31, 2012 Quite right, they are torpedo vents. Various manufacturers supply them; those in the MJT range (from Dart Castings) are quite crisp castings and a pretty close match to the Hornby ones. http://www.dartcastings.co.uk/mjt/2940.php
