stehill1
Hi all, just wondering if anyone had any knowledge of a 47 wearing the transrail 'Big T' livery? Trawled the net and looked in all the obvious places/websites for pictures, but to no avail. Kind Regards Ste

Clay Country
None of the 47s allocated to the three regional freight companies received any form of branding. Most of the freight 47s went to RfD and Freightliner, including those in the best condition, and the examples divided among the others were largely long-in-the-tooth examples deemed to have a limited life. Many had not seen the inside of a workshop for a long time and a lot had poor paintwork, which helps to explain the absence of logos.
