RMweb Premium Grafarman Posted May 11, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 11, 2012 Hi all, I have a number of Farish class 40's and other locos which have a noticeable seam across the face of the buffers. As they have been detailed with pipes, couplings etc. I am now trying to find a straightforward way of removing said seam without destroying the face of the buffer or snapping it off altogether...I did think of using a very fine emery board or razor blade, but what do you think? All comments gratefully received!! Thanks David
Dr Al
File the front surface of it carefully. I've done this with many Farish oval buffers no problem. Mind you I have a stack of spare buffers should one come off or go missing or snap Cheers, Alan
