br2975
This is one of those sights most of us would see each day, and yet gave it scant attention - I know I did, because I was working (surveying) in the area about this time. http://www.railphotoarchive.org/rpc_zoom.php?img=0720024836000 Can any GWR afficianados identify which diagram the 'gig' or 'chariot' may be, whether anyone knows whether it (and any others still in use in the Cardiff area at that time) was still 'branded' with it's allocated yard ?. This photo was taken not long before the Newtown, Long Dyke and Adam Street complex closed and I wonder if anyone has further information ? . I know another one lasted at Burry Port until at least 1980ish Brian R
