Jongudmund
Does anyone know where there are any schematics / diagrams available of the Dubs crane tank?
avonside1563
As far as I know there aren't any and I am not sure who may hold the Dubs records. However I will endeavour to find out for you. In the meantime you might like to come along to the gala at Foxfield this weekend as Dubs will be in action along with 6 other locos.
Adam
Does anyone know where there are any schematics / diagrams available of the Dubs crane tank? Since Dübs went on to become part of North British, my initial thought was Glasgow University archives who hold the NB material. A quick search of the National register of Archives shows that this is partly correct - some drawings, etc. are in the NRM, though who knows what is where. If you want to know, you'll have to check (and remember that Glasgow archivists are not necessarily railway specialists). Jongudmund
Thanks for the help - really appreciate it. I intend to come to Foxfield sometime but couldn't make it this weekend. Jon
avonside1563
I have contacted Anthony Coulls who is going to check his records and see if he can suggest where the drawings might be held.
