pendlerail Posted June 25, 2012 Share Posted June 25, 2012 I decided to get round to fitting the Express Models Lighting kit to my Bachmann class 25, 25034 when I took it apart I found that the Headcode panel is Moulded around the light fitting? gronk the shunter Posted June 27, 2012 Share Posted June 27, 2012 Haven't got an answer, but do sympathise as I was going to do this exact same thing yesterday and because of the problem you describe I fitted it to a class 24 instead. I don't know if they have changed the size and spec of the LED's since I bought mine (a couple of years ago) but after all the messing about I wish I hadn't bothered. The size of them means you have to hack the cabs to bits and I had to hard wire the DCC chip to make room for the light board. After all that the lights were far too bright, more like very high intensity lights rather than the dim ones that were fitted to first generation diesels. What's more, the "white" lights looked more green than anything. I won't bother fitting any more. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
