Open Day Thank you to all those who came to the open day. It was an excellent turnout, we estimate about 50 people. We would also like to thank Robin Whittle, Geoff Brewin (Comet), John Lloyd (Green Scenes) and Tony Hill for their support. We even managed to get respectable weather for the BBQ. The loco building challenge proved to be too challenging. Paul Hutfield assembled a set of sprung hornblocks, Chris Foren made some coupling rods and Derek improved the body with some new handrails, smokebox dart and a general coat of grime. Website Security You may have noticed that we have improved the security on our website. Eileensemporium.com has always been protected by security encryption. We have now increased the assurance level by installing an Extended Validation (EV SSL) certificate, which is the highest assurance presently available. The green address bar, exclusive to EV SSL, provides visual assurance to visitors that the site is verified and secured. An EV SSL certificate assures you that the most complete and thorough checks have been performed on our company. The Extended Validation provides assurance of who you are dealing with and is shown visually by changing the left hand logo and name on the Address Bar to a green background. If the postage would have been higher than standard due to weight then £3 will be deducted from the postage cost. International will also have a £3 (£2.50 excluding VAT) deduction. Exhibition News We regret that we will not be able to attend Wakefield show 30 November - 1/2 December 2012 as the show has changed dates and clashes with Reading. We simply do not have the stock and manpower to cover 2 shows at the same time.
