HARRYMALLARD
Well this afternoon I started a micro layout, Reason : I wanted a testbed for techniques , an exhibition layout, a programming track, oh yes, and I was bored Size : 23.5 x 50.5 cm Era : any : total build time around 2 hours : ballasting is done by placing double sided tape down, placing the track in position, pouring ballast (sand) over it and poring the excess into the garden (the only!) Point operation is by wire in tube (paperclip in straw) Total cost so far 0 euros at all Cheers Harry

gronk the shunter
That's the problem with model railways, they take up too much space, so so expensive and time consuming!
rodshaw
Do you have any tape left? If so, your next micro layout could cost nothing at all!
cary hill
Nice little diorama ! Are you in the states ? (85 cents )? "Total cost so far 0 euros at all" in the OP might suggest a European location ?
