Guy Chapman Posted July 21, 2012 Share Posted July 21, 2012 I am basing my OO gauge layout more or less on early 60s Eastern region - BR black, green diesels, maroon Mk. 1 for top line service. I have a prototypical Flying Scotsman of the period, thanks to the recent releases from Bachmann, and also want to make up a sleeper. Does anyone have the makeup of a sleeper of the period? I understand they varied over the year with longer trains and more First stock in the run up to the "glorious 12th" for example, so this is probably a case of finding something reasonably representative. Any suggestions gratefully received. I do have plenty of room, my main station platform will accommodate a 13-carriage train comfortably. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
