edcayton
I received my new Railway Magazine today, and there is an advert by the publishers asking for "expressions of interest" in a new edition of Colonel M H Cobb's seminal railway atlas of Great Britain. I was lucky enough to get one of the first editions (thanks Mum) which sold out at £100, the second edition also sold out at £125; both editions being produced by Ian Allan. As you may know Ian Allan seem to be withdrawing from the railway publishing market, and Mortons Media-new publishers of the Railway Magazine are asking if enough people would be interested in buying a copy if one were produced at a similar price. This would be a revised edition with several new revisions. They ask that those with such an interest contact them Phone 01507 529280 e-mail sawilkinson@mortons.co.uk Morton Media Group, Morton Way, Horncastle, Lincs LN9 6JR I have no interest other than being the lucky owner of a copy of this splendid book.
