Rob F
Had a day trip today from Nottingham to Skegness. Outward journey was uneventful but on the way back the train stopped short of two level crossings before Boston and the driver left the train. There was a rapidly flashing red light facing the train on both occasions. Was the driver actually operating the crossing? This certainly did not happen on the way out as both crossings were passed at speed. ROB
SwissRailPassion
Sounds like crossing failure. A flashing white light shows the crossing has operated.
great central
Sounds like crossing failure. A flashing white light shows the crossing has operated. Correct, Matt Pitts lane and Brewsters crossings just outside Wainfleet were giving trouble yesterday. The message was sent out this morning that they were still causing problems but since reported working normally.
