Evening all

In the last few weeks I decided a change was needed on the layout, mainly that I had got board with Brunswick Green, so have had a Christmas Spending Spree since I got payed from work.

I have gone for an early BR feel with LNER liveries and BR Blue, so these are the locos so far.

V2 60807, a rather old Bachmann model, brand new for a cheap price, I particular wanted her due to the BRITISH RAILWAYS on tender.

A1 60162 'NORTH BRITISH' my first A1 in another livery other than BR Green, and I really like it, rather miffed the loco

doesn't have a detail pack with it!

A3 60052 'PRINCE PALATINE and 60103 'FLYING SCOTSMAN', like the A1s I had a number of A3s in BR green, I do like this livery, and I believe Hornby only do these two in BR Blue

so got both as they both have different tenders, 60103 being a NON CORRIDOR A4's, and 60052 being an original GNR tender.

and not forgetting an A4, I know it's the older Bachmann model, but Hornbty currently don't do a BR blue loco, hopefully next year with a post war one in Garter Blue and BR on tender

and finally my favourite, an A1 in apple green, not TORNADO, but

A1 60114 'W.P ALLEN' the first A1 built, and she looks stunning, definitely my favourite loco on the layout so far!

there is also a train set on the way, 'THE NORTHUMBRIAN' with super detailed A3 (tender drive) in apple green with 'BRITISH RAILWAYS' on the tender, but im still awaiting this.

All these locos will feature in a special episode of NORTH EASTERN STEAM in the summer hopefully :)

Thanks for reading chaps
