James Hilton
Looks like an awesome day out! I'd love to have made the trip this time, alas, maybe one day. It's incredible how quick they can turn around a restoration. Marchlyn looks great, saw her recently at the Apedale gala. I'd love to see the La Meuse in the flesh, along with some of the other oddities. Lovely photos of a lovely collection.
RMweb Gold papagolfjuliet Posted September 21, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 21, 2012 more photos: The Corpet (French) indirect drive 0-6-0T built in 1884 That's a really nicely composed shot. Looks like a works photo; the slightly strange light gives it a sepia quality.
RMweb Gold 46444 Posted September 24, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 24, 2012 Some really beautiful photos that capture a beautiful day by the looks of things. Think James in right in using the term 'awsome'. May have to try to get along there one day.
RMweb Gold papagolfjuliet Posted March 24, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 24, 2013 I see from the photos of the current open weekend that a pair of WW1 Baldwin 4-6-0 tanks imported from India have arrived at Statfold.
