RMweb Premium Mike Bellamy Posted October 23, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted October 23, 2012 A friend of mine is interested in modelling the Norwegian narrow gauge line between Lillesand and Flaksvand and has asked me if anyone knows of any drawings or photos of the stock and in particular the two locos - known as Lillesand and Flaksvand. He is aware of the information on Wikipedia here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lillesand%E2%80%93Flaksvand_Line but what else is out there to help. Are there any loco kits in either HOe or Oe (he doesn't mind which scale) that could be modified - he is happy scratchbuilding everything else. EddieB Posted October 24, 2012 Share Posted October 24, 2012 There's an article about the line in "Glemte Spor" and details of the locomotives in "Damplokomotiver i Norge", both books in Norwegian and quite hard to find. The latter includes a small, dimensioned sketch (side only) of the locos (which were Hartmann 2042/3 of 1895). I can scan this for you, but you might want to wait and see if anything better turns up. Photos in both books are credited to the "Jernbanemuseet", so it may be worth contacting the Norwegian Railway Museum at Hamar and also the Jernbaneklubb http://www.njk.no/ Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
