Guest Mikado
Hudswell Clarke now in noisy service, but must change the couplings to my preferred Dinghams. I had forgotten what a pain 3 link couplings are. Sounds are good with an abundance of whistles. Synchronising the chuffs with wheel rotation was easy enough - although essential - when I first ran it it sounded like it was attempting to upstage Mallard when it was hardly moving! I also cut the top speed as Dock Green offers no chance for galloping. Can someone remind me - how do I switch from 28 to 128 speed steps? Chaz Hi, I have just finished the sound fit for the Hudswell Clark, two speakers and added the "stay live" capacitor as detailed in Hornby Mag. The sound seems rather muted and the chuffs per wheel revolution is on the high side. I will now have to delve into the art of CV changing Cheers G
