Penrice09 Posted November 7, 2012 Share Posted November 7, 2012 Have in my possession a Ben 0-4-0 chassis of USA origin which is different from the loco obtained in the UK shops, it has a representation of the valve gear which attracts but the motor and gears are rather large [outline as per dotted on my sketch]. Would the loco sketched seem feasible, have had to stretch the dropped footplate and make the cab large enough to cover the back end of the motor, I hope to use the original saddle tank.
