We are pleased to announce a new, bigger venue for 2013:

Shenley Brook End School

Walbank Grove

Shenley Brook End

Milton Keynes

MK5 7ZT (click for map)

The venue offers roughly double the space of the venue we have used in the last couple of years, so we can present a record number of layouts and traders covering a wide range of scale, gauges and interests:

Layouts (confirmed at 10/11/2012):

  • Abbey Road, John Polley www.metromodels.net "OO"
Fictitious split level London Underground station in north-west London. Features familiar Charles Holden-designed station building.

Represents a fictitious Great Western location in the 1930-40 era. The station serves the village with passenger and freight trains.
  • Brickville Town Harbour, Martin Shenton "Other"
Lego layout features a range of trains and buildings. Look out for the operating container crane and see how many film characters you can spot!
  • Burton Bradstock, Chris Lester "EM"
Set in the late 1950s and based on the Abbotsbory branch, imagining it was extended to Burton Bradstock. Hand built track and points.
  • Castell Mawr, Geoff Trenholme "OO"
DCC. Based on an imaginary town south of Pontrillas on Welsh-English border, represents a joint GWR/LMS line carrying passenger and freight trains.
