shortliner
You come up with some real gems Jack - keep em coming. Jez Thanks Jez - just to offer a modelling suggestion I have posted this suggestion in the MTIF " Without wanting to teach granny egg-sucking, can I offer you what is almost a miniature version of this - look in Scrapbook #92A for "The end of the Rathole". Mirror it and adjust the headshunt/siding lengths to suit your requirements, the "Really Big Building" becomes a view-block warehouse, and the curved building in the middle becomes a paved area/container storage, The loading dock is also lowered to a paved area. If you want to make it a little deeper, add a parallel track at the top (dummy and un-connected) with a low relief warehouse backscene and two or three cars at the doors. Theory says that a trackmobile could do an occasional movement of cars on that track from one door to another to add visual interest Hey Presto - a fairly minimum space transload layout!
