Blue 31

I recently bought a Hornby 31233 and would like to give it a coat of blue and renumber it. I have searched Flickr with no luck, I am looking for a blue 31/1 with roof cowl, no waist band and no headlight, any ideas? Does such a prototype exist or will I have to convert it to a 31/4 for which I can find numerous examples. Thanks in advance.

In the top centre it says "search for photos" and 4 lines below "the advanced search engine", click this

 

Tick the box saying diesel locomotives,then press "here" on the line above the tick boxes

 

Drop down Class:31 (all), Liveries: Blue, then in date taken choose a year for either "on" , "before" or "after"

 

 

That should give you a reasonable selection to start with. You can then check flickr and zenfolio for specific loco numbers.
