Unicorn1 Posted November 30, 2012 Share Posted November 30, 2012 Evening all I've been using my Hornby Select now for three years with no problems whatsoever. Today I turned the mains power on, and within 30 seconds the controller stopped working. The display shows nothing at all, altgought the mains transformer unit still gets a little warm - as is usual. The lead from the transformer to the controller is in perfect condition with no snags or damage, and plugs in nice and snugly. All my other electrical stuff on the layout is working OK. I have tried the whole combination plugged into the mains elsewhere in the house, but still dead. Now, I know it's a Select...............but has anyone got any ideas, or is it just old age?
