I've tried putting a request on the London, Midland & Scottish Railway Forum but the Forum seems not be used that much with very little input or use? Anyway, I am researching the history of a particular LMS Loco - Fowler 3F 0-6-0T 1706 - and have recently viewed the Engine History Cards at the NRM, the loco was built in 1924 but the earliest date on the EHC is 1 January 1927 which was the allocation of the loco to the Wellingborough shed. Does anyone with LMS knowledge know where I might find out where this loco was, or what it was doing, during the period August 1924 to December 1926? Any suggestions or leads would be appreciated.
