KevinWalsh
Andy Y has kindly agreed for me to start this topic to advertise one of our club layouts for sale. Netherhall & Fletching (1960's Southern Region OO layout with 3rd rail) Uckfield Model Railway Club Ltd are offering for sale their OO 1960's 3rd rail BR Southern Region Layout. The layout has been featured in Hornby Magazine (September 2008), Model Rail Magazine (October 2010) and has attended a number of local and regional exhibitions over the last few years including recent visits to Brighton Modelworld and Erith. The club has limited space meaning that they do not feel able to progress the layout further and are therefore it for sale. The layout has a minimum footprint of 17'6" by 8' (with central operating well) constructed from 5 scenic boards and an equal number of fiddle yards making up a generous 5 lane yard with isolators capable of handling Eight 4 car EMU/DEMU formations and is wired in a modular non-DCC fashion (could easily be converted to DCC). The layout can be transported in a single transit tyoe van, large box trailer or a number of estate cars. The layout will be exhibited at Canterbury exhibition on 19th/20th January 2013 and is available to any purchaser after that date with no further fixed commitments. Further details online at http://www.uckfieldmrc.co.uk/netherhallnf.html Any interested purchaser should contact enquiries@uckfieldmrc.co.uk , PM me on here or visit the Canterbury exhibition and speak to our members to discuss or place an offer in the region of £250.00.
