Computerphobe needs help.

Hi Folks,

 

For some reason best known to the computer, the writing on my screen has gone smaller all by itself. I thought there should be "Display" icon on my "Control Panel" which I could tweek but I can't find it. The buttons on the monitor don't seem to be much help either.

 

Could I have done something to upset the computer to make it do this to me?

 

Any help (preferably in words of one syllable - or key-by-key) to get my text restored to the next size up would be appreciated.

First of all try pressing the Ctrl key at the bottom left of the keyboard whilst scrolling your mouse wheel. See if that fixes it.

Hold the Ctrl key down and press either + or -, or on a Mac it's usually teh flowery thing with + or -, also look for 'Zoom' in the menu...
