gismorail
Was interested in the exclusive pictures in this months Model Rail (No177 Jan 2013) which have just been released by Heljan. It sure does look good and first impressions are that the sheer bulk of the 'whistler' has been captured well. I was disappointed to read that Heljan only intend to realise the original disc headcode version which seems a shame. As normal they are only doing two liveries and not specific guises. I really do think that manufacturers do miss a trick with models like this to release a percentage of the production in an unpainted version, it would make the repainting job a lot easier for people who have the skill and confidence to undertake such a task.
