daftbovine Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 A friend without access to the internet has asked for help, he applied Fox transfers to a kit built 9F, while he was drying off the excess water the transfer must have moved and it dried out of alignment. He would like to know if there is any way of soaking it and repositioning it without damaging it. It has been on the loco since Sunday. Any help and suggestions would be gratefully received. Roddy Angus Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 Veronica I don't know about Fox transfers specifically, but if you soak the offending transfer in water then it may well come loose again. If you want to reuse the transfer then just place drops of water on it and wait till it loosens naturally but be warned that it may not stick as well in the new position.
