RMweb Gold TomE Posted January 1, 2013 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 1, 2013 Hi Craig. The most widely used method would be PVA glue diluted with water and a drop of wasting up liquid. Place the ballast first, then either spray the glue on, or drip it into place and let capillary action draw it along. You could also consider using Johnson's Kleer floor polish too. This is a floor wax which drys clear and solid in a much shorter time than PVA, or an alternative to Kleer is Lakelands Quick Shine. http://www.lakeland.co.uk/20286/Quick-Shine-Floor-Finish Hope this helps! Tom.
Simon G
Tom is right about the PVA diluted with water. Our club layouts were built this way and are lasting very well. Just one thing - use washing up liquid in place of the 'wasting up' liquid (sorry Tom, couldnt resist that!) Simon
