rd84
Hi, Can anyone provide me with any additional information or history of Hudswell Clarke 0-4-0ST Number 571 please. I know it was originally purchased for construction of the Blackbrook Dam in Leicestershire and was named "Blackbrook" - before going to Groby Quarry, Leicestershire and then P.W Anderson of Stone, Kent in 1918 where it was re-named "Toronto" - It was scrapped in 1950. The above info is from Goby & Its Railways / D.A. Ramsey / TEE Publishing /ISBN 0 905100 39 5 Many thanks. Cheers Paul
