Hector Lawn
Hi, Can anyone on the admin team tell me if there a good reason why members signatures only appear at the bottom of a post when you are signed in? If I view posts as a guest (i.e. not signed in) no-one's signatures appear? Thanks Hector
Andy Y
Some signatures contain images and it's a (small) way of saving bandwidth and speed loading.
cromptonnut
I remember a similar discussion a few years back on another (non modelling) forum I use where some members were threatening legal action against the forum owners for not displaying signatures, because in some strange way not doing so apparently curtailed their "freedom of speech and expression" to force others to see their signatures as well as anything they posted. The fact that their signatures broke the forum rules for size was, naturally, entirely irrelevant and after a few months of quite heated discussion it all went quiet, but was very amusing to watch at the time. Andy Y
Incredible!
cromptonnut
It was the "Goreans v Furries" war in Second Life, a few years back. Don't even get me started on the "Blingtards v detail settings" argument either. Both of these will probably mean absolutely nothing to most of you - it's probably better that way, trust me. Hector Lawn
Ahh, Ok. I thought it was something that I was doing wrong! Thanks to everyone that replied. Hector
