KevinWalsh
I'm asking this on behalf of a friend who doesn't have internet access. He is currently helping build an EM gauge model of Hitchin station (on the ECML) as it was in 1959. Does anyone have any photos, sketches or construction drawings of the Cattle Pens and Dock Platform, I have been unable to track down anything on the web and my friend hasn't been able to source any pictorial information in Hitchin itself. Many thanks in advance Kev

I have views all around the station from 1966 onwards but none of them figure the cattle pens
KevinWalsh
Thanks for the replies guys, don't suppose you would know what the brick courses were?
LNERGE
I'm afraid a brick was a brick at the age i was when i stood there and a bigger prize always awaited just behind the GUV/CCT... The chance to catch the signalman's eye and get invited upstairs into the box..
KevinWalsh
LOL, I can understand that. Bearing that in mind, do you have any idea of the layout of the pens and what the fencing was constructed of?
