RMweb Gold phil_sutters Posted September 20, 2016 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 20, 2016 Afraid you've got a bit confused here. The 7Fs were never shedded at Highbridge and very rarely worked the branch. In fact I can't think of any pictures of them working on the branch other than works visits to Highbridge pre 1930. When newly delivered in 1914 the first batch were initially shedded at Radstock for a short time until the cab roof vent and chimney lip had been modified. Jerry Looking for something else I did come across this http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1681/24359476390_f7027318c5.jpg 53807 at Highbridge 06 07 1964 Of course if you believe Mac Pyrke, all sorts, including Bulleid Pacifics, got up to the Berrow branch so they would have had to come through West P! Nice 1960s layout, but a curious back story.
