Dorsetmike
Why do some sprung couplings stay in the up position and not spring back to level? Can anybody suggest a cure, I'm noticing the problem particularly with Dapol CCT.GUV vans, one suggestion I heard was a blob of bluetack, but don't have any around, would a small strip of plastic glued at the top of the "slot" work to stop the coupling going so high? Dorsetmike
Sorted one at least!! Took the body off the worst offender, found there is a piece of plastic protruding down into the edge of the coupling pocket (which prevents the coupling from popping out??) this had broken off one end, so I cut a piece of plastic into a chunky "L" shape and put some Mek-pak inside the body end fixed the plastic, trim it to fit, job done now; to investigate the other offenders.
