60800
Is it prototypically acceptable to have alternating OHLE supports with the Dapol 'OO' supports on a single track line, as per this temporary set up?
Guest jim s-w
you have to have stagger on straight track but usually the masts will all be on one side and 2 slightly different types For an intro to OHLE see - http://www.p4newstreet.com/articlePDFs/Update%2038%20ole.pdf HTH Jim
60800
Thankyou very much, two types are supplied in the pack. I'll have to stray away from the proper contact wire height though - the contact heads on the panographs of my class 85 sit nowhere near level at the correct height, but 4mm higher, they do. The wires themselves (thread in my case) will be tentioned by the way I'll attach them to the masts so hopefully I'll be able to have the pantograph heads contacting without mishap
andygif
hmm, if your thread breaks from having the pantograghs rubbing on it, try switiching to beading wire like this http://www.choosybeads.co.uk/beadalon-19-strand-beading-wire-bright-018-30ft-reel-660-p.asp
