richard hines Posted March 8, 2013 Share Posted March 8, 2013 I have trawled the net for a source for the "top hat" style of gas lighting used atop of posts for the main platform lighting with not much luck.Any ideas or a good photo would be greatly appreciated. richard hines Posted March 8, 2013 Author Share Posted March 8, 2013 Thanks for that Jamie.I have plenty of long range pictures but nothing I can get some dimentions or detail from.The style I think was fairly widespread in its use as I have photos of them on the Great Central and Great Northern as well as the Midland.
