c2c
This could be a useful tip for someone! Currently I've been building Metcalfe kits, Ive been glueing the parts together using Evo-Stick Strong bond adhesive. The nozzel always seems to ooze out glue the moment I remove the cap, but what I noticed is unless you have pre squeezed the tube if you hold the tube vertical the glue doesn't run out as much. I have now adapted a technique were I tip the tube rather than squeeze it when glueing! DaveH
Guest Natalie Graham
I tip the tube Does 10% cover it? Isn't glue designed to only come out of the tube when you don't want it to?
RJS1977
Reminds me of this episode of the Men from the Ministry (which does have a railway connection!): http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00z66dq "This new Tube is dangerous and must not be opened." Would appear so, the worst thing is if the tube has been squeezed prior to opening which makes the damned stuff erupt and ooze out every where. But I found by using gravity its a better way of getting some sort of control with the goo.
