Prototype for MPD above low-level line in Cutting?

I'm toying with the idea of a Paul Lunn-type 6x4 urban line, but using an MPD with turn-table as a high level scenic break so I can play with the big engines!

I know that Stuart's (sp?) Lane was an MPD below high level lines on viaduct, but was wondering if there was a prototype for the opposite.

Thanks

Allerton TMD could be similar, the line to Hunts Cross is certainly in a cutting but not sure if it is level or below the TMD. The actual TMD is level with the WCML as it passes through Allerton Station, which I believe is now renamed to South Liverpool Parkway.

Not quite what you're thinking of Ed, but a similar sort of thing was Tinsley Diesel Depot above the cutting at one end of the marshalling yard. Another one where the depot was higher than the running line (albeit a freight-only branch) was Sunderland South Dock. Neither exactly what you're looking for, but certainly having a depot at a higher level than running lines isn't impossible.
