chrisf
I'm surprised that no-one else has started this topic. Lead item is of course the Bachmann announcements - six pages for 4mm and four for N. Layouts featured are Glen Gillie Loch Inch [OO finescale] by Peter Midwinter, Nelford Valley Railway [O-16.5] by Steve Howe and Duxbury [OO] by Leamington & Warwick MRS. Constructional articles include building curved platforms by Mike Wild, assembling a Craftsman 1P by Phil Parker and customising the Skytrex goods shed fo rClayhanger, also by Phil Parker. Almost in this category is Paul Cheffer's piece on installing DCC sound in a Hornby West Country Features on prototype information are both by Evan Green-Hughes and this month cover the EM2s and water supplies for steam locos. Anyone with the remotest interest in weathering should read Tim Shackleton's article on crudding up the Hornby Van B. Plenty of reviews are featured - the Olivia EM2, Heljan 128 and OO Works C13 taking the lead. Those who do not like their magazines encased in a plastic bag may lament for a booklet is enclosed with the magazine - the national heritage railwy timetable. The preview of Hornby Live at Hartlepool is confined to two pages. Chris
