F2Andy
Although I have been lurking for a few years, I have not postyed much, so as I am starting to build a new layout, I thought a thread about some of my creations was in order. This is the first building I have scratch-built, though I have done kits. It is an engine shed for 009, using cereal packet card and Scalescenes paper. Matching signal box and transfer shed to follow at some point. ETA: Should have said, I have yet to add vents to the roof...

F2Andy
Thanks for encourage. I have started a small signal box, but as I put it together, I am worried the proportions are wrong. I am going to keep going so I can see how it ends up, but have now started a station building, and for that I drew the elevations on my computer and pasted them on to card as a cutting guide. It is a few extra steps, but it might help get the dimensions right, and for repeated and symmetric parts is much easier.
