george stein
Viewing all the layouts posted here, it's obvious the the tops (ends) of barrels are often painted in a color other than "wood." Is there some British "color code" to indicate the typical contents of a barrel, or is it all random just to add a splash of color to the barrels stacked beside a building or loaded in a wagon? Really basic question I admit, but I'm in the USA and the color-topped barrels are unique.
